Vital Castings opened its doors in April 2009 in Kroonstad

Starting small we cast about 2 tons metal per month for the first few months,

Now after 12 years we cast about 90 tons, with a capacity of 150 tons per month.

Directors of Vital Castings are Theo and Jan Esterhuizen, between these brothers, they have more than 40 years experience in Pattern-making, foundry management and engineering background.  

Vital castings have its own pattern shop to maintain patterns and accommodate any new products desired by the client.

Our aim is to supply quality castings to our clients, with  great service in mind.

The different metals witch we cast is Cast iron, SG 42, SG60 and 27% chrome iron.

We utilize some of the most up-to-date casting technology that is available today to improve our casting quality.
